Serie A strugglers Carpi have sacked manager Giuseppe Sannino and reinstated former boss Fabrizio Castori just over a month after he was also fired.
Castori led the Italian minnows to their first promotion to the top tier last season but was dismissed after just six games of this campaign.
Former Watford boss Sannino secured their first victory this season in his opening game with a win over Torino.
The club have yet to win since and are bottom of the table after 11 rounds.
"Carpi announce that they have relieved Giuseppe Sannino from his commitment as coach of the first team and Giovanni Cusatis from the role of technical adviser," said a statement on the club's website.
"Simultaneously, we announce that Fabrizio Castori has been entrusted with role of first team coach."
