Manager Chris Moyses has apologised to Lincoln City's fans after their "unacceptable" FA Cup defeat at National League South side Whitehawk.
The Imps trailed 4-2 before pulling it back to 4-3 thanks to Matt Rhead's hat-trick, before eventually losing 5-3.
"It was disgraceful defending," Moyses told BBC Lincolnshire after the first-round loss. "It's not good enough.
"I'm sorry and I apologise for the performance. It's shocking but we are all in it together and we go again."
Moyses, who side are 11th in the National League, added: "I'm livid. It's not acceptable. We should have come away with something. We have to do better and take more responsibility for our actions."
