National League side Boreham Wood have appointed Jason Goodliffe as assistant to manager Luke Garrard.

The former Stevenage and AFC Wimbledon defender was previously number two to Garrard's predecessor Ian Allinson at the Wood before leaving in 2011.

Goodliffe, 41, was most recently on the coaching staff of Stevenage, before manager Graham Westley's departure from the League Two club in the summer.

Garrard and Goodliffe played together for three years at Wimbledon.
