Former Manchester United trainee John Cofie is to spend a second week on trial with National League side Wrexham.
The 22-year-old striker is a free agent following a short spell with Crawley Town last season.
Cofie has spent the week with the Dragons and played 85 minutes in a reserve match against Port Vale on Wednesday.
"I like what I see with him," Wrexham manager Gary Mills said.
"He's had years where he's never really been consistent with his playing and I've told him it's now got to start.
"If we get him going then Wrexham are going to get the best out of him."
Ghana-born Cofie joined Manchester United at the age of 14, but did not make a senior appearances before being released in the summer of 2013.
He had loan spells at Royal Antwerp, Sheffield United and Notts County during his time at Old Trafford and subsequently had spent time at Barnsley and Norwegian side Molde.
