Nicky Clee's goal helped Altrincham earn a narrow victory over struggling Boreham Wood in the National League.
The visitors dominated the first half, as Charlie MacDonald and Luke Howell both fired against the woodwork.
Altrincham took the lead late in the second half with their only shot on target, when Clee powered in Michael Rankine's ball in from the right.
The Wood continued to push for an equaliser, but they were unable to find a way past Altrincham keeper Tim Deasy.
