Liverpool must pay £42m to sign striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Borussia Dortmund, according to Talk Sport.
But the German side will only consider selling the 26-year-old Gabon striker, who has scored 14 goals this season, if they can keep hold of midfielder Marco Reus.
Meanwhile, Turkish newspaper Fotospor reports that former Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has had talks with Galatasaray over the vacant manager's job.
Galatasaray sacked coach Hamza Hamzaoglu on Thursday after less than a year in charge.
Rodgers was dismissed by Liverpool in October with the side 10th in the Premier League.
