Paul Cox earned his first victory as Barrow manager after Steve Williams' goal helped them beat Woking.
The Bluebirds went in front early on when Andy Cook headed in from inside the six-yard box.
Barrow almost doubled their lead but David Mellor's long-range effort hit the bar before Woking equalised when Joey Jones' header went in.
But Williams won it when he headed in from six yards, leaving both teams in mid-table in the National League.
Woking boss Garry Hill told BBC Surrey:
"It was frustrating on a very windy day and very awkward for both sides out there. But, from our point of view, I look at it as a game where we should be going back down the M6 with a good result.
"Defending against the wind in the first half we knew it was going to be tough. But, at 1-1, there should only be one winner. We were on top but didn't have that quality in the final third.
"We didn't show enough. All credit to them for battling. They got a lift because we didn't turn around and take a stamp on the game."
