FC Halifax: Johnson, Clappison and McDonald join on loan

Sam Johnson has not featured for Port Vale this season

FC Halifax have signed Port Vale goalkeeper Sam Johnson, Hull City defender Ben Clappison and Derby striker Shaquille McDonald on loan.

Johnson, 22, has made 23 league appearances for the Valiants but has not played this season.

Clappison, 21, and McDonald, 20, are yet to play a competitive game for their parent clubs.

The trio could feature for the Shaymen, who are bottom of the National League, against Dover on Saturday.
