Alloa v Dumbarton was the only Championship game to go ahead on Saturday

Dumbarton moved up to seventh in the Championship with a win at strugglers Alloa Athletic.

Mark Docherty scored direct from a corner on 71 minutes, with the swirling wind a factor.

Late substitute Grant Gallagher added to the visitors' lead from close range in the closing minutes.

Bottom side Alloa have now gone 11 games without a win, with the teams due to meet again on Scottish Cup duty on Tuesday.

This was the only match to go ahead in the Championship, as heavy rain and high winds swept across the country and decimated the fixture list.
