Cambridge United 1-3 Doncaster Rovers

Conor Grant scored twice as Doncaster came from behind to beat Cambridge and reach the third round of the FA Cup.

Thorsten Stuckmann saved Barry Corr's low penalty for Cambridge after Aaron Taylor-Sinclair's foul on Luke Berry, but Berry nodded in the rebound.

Doncaster levelled after the break when Grant's shot from the edge of the box went through goalkeeper Sam Beasant.

Mitchell Lund prodded in Cameron Stewart's cross for 2-1 before Grant curled in off the post from 20 yards.

Cambridge United manager Shaun Derry told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire:

"I am absolutely delighted with the performance but I am fuming with the goals we have conceded. They were unacceptable and we all collectively have to take responsibility.

"Especially after half-time we seem to be vulnerable and that is something I will change, without a doubt.

"Over the course of 95 minutes I can honestly say we were better than Doncaster, but we lost 3-1. I am delighted with the energy and endeavour we gave in the last 15 minutes.

"It was fine lines today and unfortunately we won't be able to recreate the magic of last year."
