Plymouth Argyle manager Derek Adams was unhappy with his side's display after their 1-1 draw at Dagenham.

Ryan Brunt scored in stoppage time to rescue a point for Argyle, who are now second in League Two having let a five-point lead slip away after three winless matches.

"It was a very poor performance from us from start to finish," Adams said.

"It was the only shot we had on target in the whole game, and we've scored a goal," he added to BBC Radio Devon.

Argyle have been hit with injuries to a number of key players and had Josh Simpson and Graham Carey taken off at half-time at Dagenham.

"It's been a bit stop-start for the last couple of weeks with the injury situation, which has not helped us," added Adams.

"But we never had one ball in behind Dagenham in the whole game and Dagenham had a lot of balls in behind us in the game. We didn't perform to the standards that we're capable of."
