Wrexham have been drawn away to National League rivals Tranmere Rovers in the FA Trophy first round.
The Dragons, Trophy winners in 2013, lost on penalties to North Ferriby United in last season's final at Wembley.
Rovers will be making their debut in the competition following relegation from League Two last season.
The tie will take place at Prenton Park on Saturday, 12 December.
Both sides met at the Racecourse in the National League in October with the game ending in a 2-2 draw.
Merthyr Town will be home to Maidenhead United if they overcome East Thurrock in a fourth qualifying round replay.
