Carlisle United's players forgot the flooding crisis that has so affected the club and region to earn a draw which knocked Oxford United off the top of the League Two table.
Alex MacDonald's low 20-yard strike put the home side ahead.
But the Cumbrians equalised when Joe Skarz's clearance rebounded in off fellow Oxford defender Chey Dunkley.
Both sides created plenty of chances in an open match, but neither team could find a winner after the break.
Carlisle, who remain sixth, went close in the second half, notably through Antony Sweeney, who had an effort cleared off the line by Callum O'Dowda.
But the U's were twice denied a winner by the woodwork, Chris Maguire hitting the bar with 25-yard free-kick and Kemar Roofe also hitting the bar with an injury-time header.
