Middlesbrough centre-back Adam Jackson has extended his loan spell with League Two side Hartlepool until 2 January.
Jackson has made five appearances for Pools in all competitions since signing for the club in November.
The 21-year-old, who spent time on loan at Coventry last season, has yet to feature for Boro's first team.
"Adam has done well since he came to the club so we're pleased to keep him," Pools manager Ronnie Moore told the club website.
"He's only relatively young but he plays with maturity so we're happy that Middlesbrough have allowed him to stay with us until January."
