Tony McMahon's second-half strike saw Bradford City beat Chesterfield and maintain their play-off push.
Billy Clarke hit the post and James Hanson shot wide as Bradford had the better of the opening exchanges.
Liam O'Neill fired over the bar from 25 yards in reply, but Tommy Lee had to be alert to deny Kyel Reid and Hanson.
He also saved well from Clarke, but the latter's cross gave McMahon the chance for a cool finish to secure victory and lift Bradford to eighth place.
