Sam Walker's strike was enough to see FC Halifax to a narrow Boxing Day win at Lincoln City.
It gave Jim Harvey victory in his first game in permanent charge of Halifax.
The Imps were unlucky not to take the lead as both Jack Muldoon and Matt Rhead saw efforts kept out by visiting goalkeeper Sam Johnson.
Walker, having had a free-kick saved in the first half, drilled the ball into the net with 20 minutes remaining following Hamza Bencherif's header.
