Ipswich have recalled midfielder Luke Hyam from his loan spell at Rotherham.
The 24-year-old joined the Millers in November and was due to remain with Championship side until the middle of January having made five appearances.
However, Town boss Mick McCarthy has brought him back to Portman Road ahead of the busy festive schedule.
Hyam, who came through Ipswich's academy, has not played for the Tractor Boys since suffering a knee injury in January which required surgery.
He will be in contention for a place in the squad for Ipswich's home game against Queens Park Rangers on Boxing Day.
