Match ends, Woking 2, Aldershot Town 1.
Woking made it five National League games without defeat as they beat Aldershot.
The hosts, who remain seventh, went ahead when John Goddard set up Joe Quigley to score.
Goddard beat the offside trap to slot past keeper Phil Smith for his 13th goal of the season.
Town, who are seven points above the bottom four, pulled one back when Rhys Browne followed up on Jim Stevenson's saved shot but they could not equalise.
Woking manager Garry Hill told BBC Surrey:
"We made hard work of it really, and should have finished it off. They made it very hard for us in the last 25 minutes, to be fair.
"But, to play two local derbies in a week, whatever level you're at, and win home and away is a tremendous return, no doubt about it.
"I think we deserved it over 90 minutes, and it was important to keep the run going."
Aldershot manager Barry Smith told BBC Surrey:
"We lost the game in the first half. We defended poorly for the two goals and that is disappointing because we defended so well before that.
"Poor defending cost us points today, we didn't really give ourselves a chance in the game.
"We are all disappointed with the run that we are on, but we will continue to work hard to turn that around."
