Barnet manager Martin Allen says the club have taken up the option to extend top scorer John Akinde's contract by another year.
Akinde, 26, has scored 11 goals this season and a total of 43 in his 74 appearances since signing in 2014.
There has recently been speculation about the player's future.
"I've had a chat with John Akinde and I've informed him that the club are taking up the option on his contract," Allen told Barnet's website.
"We're happy and he's delighted. It's good news all round, and that should now settle everybody down."
