Danielle Carter signs new Arsenal Ladies contract

Danielle Carter has been a stalwart for Arsenal Ladies in recent seasons

Arsenal Ladies' England striker Danielle Carter has signed a new deal.

The 22-year-old has been a key player for the Gunners, featuring in all but two of their 42 league matches over the course of three seasons.

Carter has scored 12 goals in that time and her impressive form led to an England call-up.

She made her debut for the national side in a Euro 2017 qualifier against Estonia in September, scoring a hat-trick in the 8-0 victory.
