Truro City manager Steve Tully wants to add "a couple more" to his squad as they chase a National League South play-off place.
The Cornish side are three points below fifth-placed Dartford but have games in hand on most of their rivals.
"It's going to be tough on the players, there are going to be suspensions and injuries," Tully told BBC Cornwall.
"I spoke the the chairman this week - I want to add to the squad because in February we play seven or eight games."
The White Tigers have added striker Matt Jay this month, but midfielder Bayan Fenwick left the club after less than two weeks.
Tully's side visit bottom-of-the-table St Albans City on Saturday, who are without a win in six matches.
"Our forte this year has been keeping clean sheets and keeping teams out, but we conceded eight goals last week so we've got to get back to basics," added Tully.
"I believe we're getting it right up top, we look a threat now going forward, so we've just got to make sure we keep the other door shut."
