National League bottom club Kidderminster Harriers pulled off their first away win in over a year against fellow strugglers Boreham Wood.
Ben Whitfield gave the visitors a 21st-minute lead from long range after latching onto Elton Ngwatala's lay-off.
Danny Woodards saved Boreham Wood from going 2-0 down when he headed Ngwatala's shot off the goalline.
Ngwatala made sure of Harriers' victory with a penalty late on after Arthur Gnahoua was fouled by David Stephens.
Ending a run of eight straight a league and cup defeats, Harriers are now within three points of second-bottom Torquay United, but still 13 adrift of safety, with 17 games left.
Harriers boss Colin Gordon told BBC Hereford & Worcester:
"In very difficult conditions, it was a very professional performance.
"We got them frustrated. There were a few rash challenges flying in. I actually thought the guy was lucky to stay on the pitch with the penalty.
"We could have shown a bit more quality at times, but I felt very comfortable in the second half. We stretched them and played in behind."
