Cheltenham have signed defender Jordan Cranston from National League rivals Gateshead for an undisclosed fee.
The 22-year-old joined the Heed from Notts County last summer and has since made 23 league appearances in 2015-16, scoring once.
Cranston, who is eligible to face Bromley on Saturday, has agreed an 18-month contract with the Robins.
He is manager Gary Johnson's fourth January signing, following Dan Holman, Cian Harries and Cameron Burgess.
