Sam Saunders: Brentford midfielder signs extended deal
Brentford midfielder Sam Saunders has signed a one-year contract extension, keeping him to the Championship club until the summer of 2017.
The 32-year-old has scored 28 goals in 183 appearances since joining the Bees from Dagenham & Redbridge in 2009.
"Sam is the longest-serving player at the club and he knows Brentford inside out," head coach Dean Smith said.
"He had options to go elsewhere, and for him to sign with us shows how much this club means to him."
