Midfielder Brandon Comley would "love" to extend his loan spell with League Two side Carlisle United.
The Cumbrians signed the 20-year old on a one-month youth loan from Queens Park Rangers in January, with Comley due to return to his parent club on 20 February.
"It'd be a great opportunity for me to stay here and play some games," Comley told BBC Radio Cumbria.
"Everyone up here is welcoming so I'd love to stay up here."
He continued: "I think what everyone wants is for me to just develop and get better and that's what I want for myself - just to play games and give it my all every day."
Comley made his first professional start for Carlisle against Everton in their FA Cup tie last weekend, and is expected to be involved when they play Accrington Stanley on Saturday.
"I just wanted to get out there and really make an impression," said the Islington-born midfielder.
"That's my goal. I've come here to try and do the best I can for the club."
