Blackburn midfielder Darragh Lenihan has signed a new three-and-a-half-year deal with the Championship side.
The 21-year-old, whose new contract runs until 2019, has progressed through Rovers' youth system after he joined from Belvedere in Ireland.
Lenihan captained the Republic of Ireland Under-21 side and has made 12 appearances for Blackburn this season.
"I'm over the moon to be honest, it has been a long time coming," he told the club website.
"I'm happy that the manager has shown the faith in me to give me games and to offer me a new contract."
