Red Star beat Partizan in Belgrade derby

Smoke holds up the game
The game had been going on for 30 seconds when the referee delayed until the smoke went

Runaway Serbian Super Liga leaders Red Star Belgrade won their 21st consecutive league game as they beat Partizan 2-1 away in an action-filled derby.

Red Star are 27 points clear of second-placed Borac Cacak, with defending champions Partizan back in sixth.

The game was delayed for several minutes just seconds after the game kicked off because of smoke from flares on the pitch.

Partizan led through debutant Ivorian defender Cedric Gogoua but Luis Ibanez levelled and Hugo Vieira scored the winner with a header.

Red Star ended with 10 men as Aleksandar Lukovic was dismissed for two bookings.
