Paris St-Germain recovered from a first domestic defeat in 11 months to beat St Etienne and reach the Coupe de France semi-finals.

The capital side - chasing their second consecutive French treble - lost 2-1 to Lyon in Ligue 1 on Sunday.

But Zlatan Ibrahimovic set up two goals in the first half at St Etienne, first for Edinson Cavani and then Marquinhos.

Valentin Eysseric gave the hosts hope with a penalty but Lucas Moura scored a late clincher.

In Wednesday's other cup games, Lorient beat Ajaccio 3-0 and Sochaux saw off Nantes 3-2 in extra time to reach the last four.

On Thursday, fifth-tier Granville are at home to Marseille in the last quarter-final.
