Braintree: Full-back Sean Long signs on loan until the end of the season

Sean Long joins a Braintree team currently in the National League play-off places

Braintree Town have signed full-back Sean Long on loan from Reading until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old spent two months at League Two side Luton between October and December this season, when he made 11 appearances.

Long has only played one game for the Royals, coming on as a half-time substitute in a League Cup match against Scunthorpe in August 2014.

He is likely to be in the Iron squad to face Gateshead on Tuesday.
