Truro City chairman Peter Masters says the club could sell forward Isaac Vassell at the end of the season.

The 22-year-old former Plymouth Argyle youngster impressed as the White Tigers came from 1-0 down to beat Bath City 3-1 on Tuesday.

Shane White's penalty and two late Les Afful goals saw Truro move up to fourth place in National League South.

"He could be sold, but he won't be going anywhere in this part of the season," Masters told BBC Cornwall.

"Isaac will follow us through to the play-offs and if we get in the National League we'll carry on with him.

"He's a good lad, he's got a lot of talent, but so have a couple of other players here, we've got a good squad."

Vassell has scored nine times in the league this season, the most by any Truro player, and had already generated interest from a number of higher-league clubs.

"He's worth £1m to us, to be frank about it, but it's all up for negotiation," added Masters.

"We don't want to let players get beyond their expectations, at the moment we just want to calm this whole thing down. A lot of our players have been looked at by other teams and we've just got to calm it down."
