101. HamBapsWhat do you want then? There's an SPL story as the main headline now, who cares about that 1 team league. At least La Liga is competitive and some of the worlds best play there. Can't really expect too much I suppose, most people on here think Koeman is a better manager than Van Gaal.
Perhaps it's because a couple of teams have finally realised the Barcelona players are just human beings like everyone else, rather than the demi-gods the media set them out as being. The Barcelona players started to believe the hype and when that happens, you get complacent, hard work becomes a chore not a necessity and the capitulation begins...
I think its down the international break where the bulk of their star players traveled and played in South America with little time to rest. Now fatigue is taking its toll and games are coming thick and fast, important games for that matter which makes it impossible to rest key players. The coach is forced to field the same tired legs week in & week out.
This is perfect for City... Messi will want out and Pep will persuade him to join the blues and start an English domination together...Just imagine a front 4 of Aguero, Messi, Silva & DeBruyne.... that enough to threaten any defence.
Would be interesting to see Barcelona play in the Premier League every week. I'm sure they'd do really well , but it might well also permanently dent their aura of all-conquering invincibility.
@ 95. Posted by Peter CharlesBecause the footballers aren't blood doping and taking EPOs?
What is going wrong for La Liga Champions - We care because ????? How about what has gone wrong for Premier League Big Boys ?????? Would be interesting to discuss. Congrats to Leicester City whether they win it or not.

valid article with interesting points, I agree with most of the comments about it being a blip. they play in one of the four big leagues in europe so those who have an interest in football should have a passing interestshame xenophobes comment on articles about european football, if you don't like europe don't read the article, hopefully you know barca is in spain and that's not in england
@101 HamBapsI'm surprised you felt the British public had much interest in your opinions (or lack of) on Spanish clubs.Nobody cares if you don't care. I for one find it interesting to see why the best team in the world has gone on a really poor losing streak.
I am surprised that the BBC feel the British public have much of an interest in a Spanish club to be honest. Move on, nothing to see here.
