Ian Hughes has resigned as manager of Welsh Premier League side Aberystwyth Town after three years in charge.
Hughes was 29 when he stepped up from assistant manager to succeed Tomi Morgan as manager in May 2013.
He guided Aberystwyth to a Welsh Cup final appearance and European qualification during his first season at the helm and a fourth place finish the following campaign.
Anglesey-based Hughes has stepped down after a period on sick leave this season.
"I am proud to have transformed a club which had finished near the bottom the two previous seasons, resulting in one of the most successful periods in the clubs recent history," Hughes said.
"This season has been hampered with me having an operation however I believe I leave the club in a much better place than when I took over."
Aberystwyth chairman Tony Bates said: "Ian is a man of the utmost integrity and unfailingly has always acted in the best interests of the Club.
"Suffice to say he will always be incredibly welcome at Park Avenue."
