Barrow have signed striker Ross Hannah from National League rivals Chester on a two-year contract.
Yorkshire-based Hannah, 30, was City's top scorer this season, hitting 22 goals in 42 matches, but turned down an offer to stay at Bumpers Lane.
Barrow, who ended the season in 11th, have made the former Bradford front man their third summer signing.
It follows the additions of striker Richard Bennett, 25, and defender Moussa Diarra, 26, on Sunday.
Hannah's 22-goal tally for Chester was beaten by only three other National League strikers, Cheltenham's Dan Holman and Grimsby's Padraig Amond, who both scored 30, and Barrow's Andy Cook (24).
