Welsh Premier League side Aberystwyth Town have appointed Matthew Bishop as the club's new manager.
Bishop played for Aberystwyth between 1992 and 1994 and later had spells with Bangor City, Conwy United and Rhayader.
The 42-year-old was previously a coach at Newport County and more recently had been assistant manager at FA Vase finalists Hereford FC.
Bishop succeeds Ian Hughes, who stepped down at the end of the 2015-16 season after three years in charge.
Former Haverfordwest County manager Wayne Jones, who had already joined the Park Avenue coaching staff, will be Bishop's assistant.
Meanwhile striker Rhys Griffiths, second on the Welsh Premier League's all-time goalscoring list, has left Park Avenue.
Griffiths joined Aberystwyth from Port Talbot Town ahead of the 2015-16 season and scored seven goals in 17 games.
"I've decided to leave Aberystwyth Town to search for a new challenge .I wish the club success for the future. I'll certainly miss the players," Griffiths tweeted.
