Former Aston Villa and QPR striker Stefan Moore has signed a new one-year contract with promoted National League side Solihull Moors.

The 32-year-old joined the Moors in December 2014 and scored 12 goals as Marcus Bignot's side won the National League North title last season.

"We're really pleased with how Stef has returned to pre-season, he looks sharp," Bignot told the club's website.

Solihull have also signed former Wolves academy midfielder Charlie Morris.

Morris, 18, joins from Boldmere St Michaels and is Bignot's third new recruit of the summer following defender Nat Kelly and striker Harry White.

"The attitude and character Chris has displayed and his performance levels in the last two games have warranted a contract," Bignot said.

"This is a great opportunity for him to continue to push on and really make his mark in the game."

The Moors open the new campaign at last season's National League South winners Sutton United on 6 August.
