James Chester: West Brom defender signs for Aston Villa
Aston Villa have signed defender James Chester from neighbours West Bromwich Albion on a four-year contract, for an undisclosed fee.
He joined Albion from Hull City for an £8m fee in July 2015, but Villa are believed to have paid more than that.
He made 19 appearances for the Baggies last season, but started in only nine Premier League matches.
The 27-year-old featured in every game for Wales as they reached the Euro 2016 semi-finals in France this summer.
Chester, who made his international debut in a 2-0 defeat by the Netherlands in June 2014, has now won 17 senior caps.
He started his career at Manchester United before leaving in 2011 for Hull, where he scored eight goals in 171 appearances
