Steve Mildenhall: Bristol Rovers goalkeeper set for knee surgery and four months out
Bristol Rovers' injured goalkeeper Steve Mildenhall is set for a further four months out as he needs surgery on his knee, says manager Darrell Clarke.
The 38-year-old has not played since August's EFL Cup tie at Chelsea.
"He's seen a specialist. It's not good news," Clarke told BBC Radio Bristol.
"I feel for him. We've been trying to manage it over the past few weeks but it's been getting gradually worse. It looks like he'll to need an operation and be out for about four months."
