Truro City: Margate win caps 'best week' since Lee Hodges became manager
Truro City boss Lee Hodges says Saturday's 2-0 win over Margate capped his best period as the club's manager.
Goals from Jamie Richards and Niall Thompson saw the White Tigers win back-to-back games for the first time since Hodges took over in the summer.
"It's probably the best week since I've been back at the club, and now they've set the bar," he told BBC Cornwall.
"We've got to get from having those indifferent performances to being more level and playing together as a group."
The win lifts City up to 15th in National League South and was their first clean sheet for two months.
"You've got to make sure you're on the money, defend tight and be solid," added Hodges, who is in his second spell as Truro boss.
"In the last few games that's what we've got back to, being solid in defence and not worrying so much about the attacking side of it.
"If we don't concede we'll get something from the game, but in the past few matches we were conceding and never giving ourselves a chance."
