@ 105.Dear friend,If you're a striker that scores consistently in any of the worlds leading leagues, you're proven at the highest level. If Harry Kane was playing for Barca in the champions league, he would be scoring for fun, instead he is playing for spurs at Wembley (takes time to adapt) .It is just a matter of time before he is banging in the goals (at champions league level)
Harry Kane is one of the worlds best strikers. Just because fans (of rival clubs) prefer to wind up fans (troll) doesn't mean we can't see through your trolling. If you're a striker that can score any type of goal, score in the big games, score 30 goals a season and score such goals in the worlds best league, this makes you one of the worlds best. Is he the best? No, top 5? YES!
Generally have respect for Pochettino. Did some very good work at Southampton. has made Spurs better than they were but Kane, one of the Worlds best, really?Maybe he was referring to Kaino, the All Black and the interviewer didn't realise.
It's is gutting to think Arsenal had Kane and let him go, this is not an isolated incident, we also turned down Gareth Bale and Yaya Toure, the genius that is Arsene Wenger struggles to spot young talentArsene has wasted serous money bringing in "youth talent" that frankly isn't worth the ink they signed their contracts with. Are we improving, NO, only 1 shot on target v Utd... shameful
For those doubting - Premier league record only.2016/17 - Played 7 Scored 5 Assist 12015/16 - Played 38 Scored 25 Assist 12014/15 - Played 28 Scored 21 Assist 42013/14 - Played 6 Scored 3Total PL stats Play 79 Sc 54Overall P102 Sc 69Bare in mind the team he plays for aint finished as the highest scoring team in the league! By any comparison those are impressive stats!!
lol.....no he really is not
Int'l success is flawed, it still depends on a quality team. Would Zidane be a w cup winner had he chose his home country of Algeria?.. no. Drogba is the opposite, he would have had int'l honours had he chose France. He couldn't even inspire an ACON with I.Coast, a team that also had Yaya Toure. The best players in the world play in Europe, so European club/CL football is the best guage for me.
@106I think it can be looked at in two ways. I agree that the Champions League is the highest level of club competition.I do think though that performing at international level still has it's value. Maradona (the cheating little *bleep*) won the WC for Argentina, would France have won their WC without Zidane...? and more recently would Wales have made the Euro semi finals without Bale...?

@105, I would love international to be the highest level. I now believe that the champions league is the highest level of competition, the likes of Barca, Real & Bayern, are better than most countries and competition is far more intense than international football, there are very few gimmies in the ECL, you don't get that in international football until the knock out stages of a tournament
@97Happy to debate. What do you consider the highest level...?In my mind international is the highest, followed by European then domestic...
84. Charlie BoyI think the term world class is bandied about too easily. The likes of Rooney, Beckham, Gascoigne, and before that Keegan and Best were described as world class on the backs of circuses rather than ability, therefore have been expected to produce unrealistic performances.
Go on then foxy give us a laugh and name 10 better than Kane in the premier league
My word there is some serious bitterness on here. OK so world class is over egging it a bit, but this is a manager bigging up his man, and why wouldn't he. Golden boot winner last season over 20 goals in successive seasons and only 23. Certainly not the 1 season wonder all the haters said he would be a year ago. Miles behind Aguero and Costa, but miles ahead of the one trick pony that is Vardy.
Funny how he is mocked for only scoring tap ins and pens. If it were true (which it isn't) and it was that easy, then why aren't far more strikers scoring 20+ goals per season? There've only been 10 strikers since the turn of the century to score more than 20 twice:RooneyDrogbaHenrySuarezShearerHasselbainkRobin van PersieRuud van NistelrooyAgueroTevezGood company to be in
