114. "It was in Huddersfield Town's best interest to get a replay at the Etihaad (for money purposes, not football purposes)"Radio interview with Huddersfield owner before the game, saying he'd said in summer that he wanted a cup run this season, but that now we're 3rd in the league, it's a really bad time for a cup run as we should be concentrating on trying to get promoted.
118. 1954 ShenanigansYou don't seem to be able to explain or justify the 'Citeh' reference either. Jibes on the Mcr accent from scousers are perfectly understandable, but I'm perplexed as to why those supposedly from the same area effectively mock themselves. Even a cockney red shouldn't be mocking the accent of the area from where their team is based. Sums up their mentality I guess
Hasn't Pep been sacked yet? He's useless. No wonder City like their rivals United have regressed from mediocre to pathetic.Sorry, but Manchester is becoming a laughing stock!
Also never understood why the fans of that 'Manchester'-based club mock the Mancunian accent, an accent that they themselves purport to have-Also an accent City fans claim none of them have, so which is it? United fans come from London etc unless you're explaining citeh then they DO come from Manchester?Probably less to do with accents than about City fans like the simian Gallagher bros
From a city fan, well done Huddersfield, you cannot take any team lightly,i felt this could be a close match when i saw the City teamsheet,we are still in the quarter-final draw.So lets move on and try and get a positive result on Tuesday which will stop all the immature trolls on here running around their bedrooms "armpit farting"and undertaking other schoolboy activities.
I thought arsenal were bad enough but this bunch of foreigners that make out they are an english team are even worst.
I would be surprised if Pep stayed at City for much longer, doesn't seem to have the heart for the battles ahead.Same with Utd, all the talk of an extended contract is a smokescreen, considering the money spent Borinho has failed. If Utd miss out on the CL again, as seems certain, he should be sacked.
This is purely an opinion and in no way reflects the beliefs and values of the club or it's players and manager, but..It was in Huddersfield Town's best interest to get a replay at the Etihaad (for money purposes, not football purposes)It was in Man City's strikers best interest to get a replay at the Etihaad (for the purpose of getting as many goals as possible)
110. Eye_Said It would be much clearer if people said what they meant :)In terms of your post, all teams are always in transition unless the manager is there long enough to overhaul the entire squad which is rare, especially in the top flight.
