win the fa cup and leave like van gaal did
Arsene has always raised a laugh in our household,he is the immovable object, results nor time affect his seat at the Gunners throne, even his name is only two short letters away from being that of the club he has ruled like an untouchable emperor. He has had some good years but to long ago, Arsenal's fans deserve a change and Arsene deserves a rest.
See you.Maybe you can take over as host on University Challenge? Good for a laugh.
When its time to go, its time to go!Or, stay but look forward to being tapped by a 'hammer' and prised out of a rock by a keen fossil collector. In entertainment terms, you are the equivalent of a 8mm black n white film, in a blueray, digital era!You can't go on expecting different results, if you don't change the media. The FA Cup is draped in blue ribbons, - AW thanks and bye bye!
With much respect to Arsene Wenger, I think it is high time for him to leave the club. Changes needs to be made not only in the coaching crew but also the board must be changed. We needed the kind of board that we have winning mentality not the kind that will be running after money and not giving the Fans the joy of winning silverwares.
@61. Rubbish. Arsenal fans owe Wenger nothing. He's had his chance, how many extra years does he need?
I think we all like Wenger as a man, but it just looks like the ambition, and the ideas, have run out.Look at Liverpool, Man U, Man City, Chelsea. They've each had ups and downs, but when things aren't going well, they make a change, because they won't rest until they're challenging for the title.Arsenal are a big club, and they should adopt the same attitude.
A great manager for 8 years but the last decade has been poor and he has not adapted to the modern demands of the game. Standards have been declining as have performances, culminating in this being the worse season for +20 years. All good things come to an end and we should not be fearful of change but embrace it. Its time for a change and a fond farewell
To be fair AW has done you lot a great job over the years, and you should show him some respect. Your slating of him shows you up for what you are - fans who Continually Undermine the Nice man who Tries his best for the Supporters.
Today i got a job in the lifts at Canary Wharf my first customer was Mr Conti i said where are you going he said the top please numero uno, he got out at the top and my second customer was a Mr Wenger i said what number do you want he said the 5th floor and said to me but next time i will go even lower.
Nevermind @54. The greatest risk in life is when change is forced on you because there is more room for error. Looks like one way or another change will be forced on AFC and recent record shows that this board may not be capable of handling it.
True fans owe Arsene ,give him another year and back him with the funds and let him choose his successor ,then offer him job "upstairs" for life. In the meantime offer Sanchez his 300k a week and hope he signs.
