@ 1032Would that be the same FA Cup that Arsenal disdained when they were capable of challenging for major trophies?
1068 : "Sunderland were a very big deal back then......". I am sorry I do not believe you.
Another fantastic thread...Yes BBC. Arsenal are bigger than all of the other London clubs combined, so 20, 40,no a thousand threads Ramming down our throats the importance of one club !!!!!Utterly useless baffoons you lot are at the BBC !!!!!
The bad news is there won't be any 10-2 scoreline which is very entertaining while the good news is he is staying....
Great! Now can the press & Arsenal children stop sulking & kicking off because they didn't get their way. Thanks.
I remember when Freddie stopped playing, so gutted!!! I think Arsene fans will be so pleased he is set to keep going!
1073. Posted by Chicken on a Ball I find it hard to comprehend that Woolwich fans can't see how far off the big clubs they actually are, *** Some of us can Chuck. The rest are happy to follow the FA Cup success story and think that is good enough and we should be grateful. Happy to wallow in the upper table mediocrity and never take a chance. Dissent is disloyalty. Accord is all. Sheep!
I find it hard to comprehend that Woolwich fans can't see how far off the big clubs they actually are, last year Spurs gave up and handed Woolwich 2nd place but they were 10 points off Leicester, this year they are 11 points off Spurs and 18 off Chelsea. Woolwich were only close to Liverpool because Mourinho wanted Utd to go for Europa league and gave Woolwich the 3 points
Alex.......there are more decent managers available today than at any other time I can remember, Simeone, Allegri, Enrique, the bloke who is replacing Enrique, this is the best time to find a good manager and Woolwich stick with the failing Venger. Venger will let Woowich down again, he is sure he is right despite all the evidence saying otherwise, I predict Woolwich coming in 6th place next year
I think that he was allowed to carry on because the Board know Arsenal won't get relegated and will still get a fair amount of money IN. Also they know that he will once again be very careful with his spending of their money so their personal profit will continue to grow. They seem to me to have become tired and have also lost their hunger for big rewards like the PL and CL.
