Hartlepool United 1-2 Eastleigh

Two goals in four second-half minutes earned Eastleigh victory and ended Hartlepool's five-game unbeaten run.

A drab first half produced just one noteworthy chance, with Pools forward Ryan Donaldson firing inches over the crossbar at the end of a fine team move.

Eastleigh took the lead early in the second half when defender Callum Howe, on loan from Lincoln, scrambled the ball home from a corner.

It was 2-0 shortly afterwards as Mark Yeates fired a superb shot past goalkeeper Scott Loach from the right side of the area.

Hartlepool finally came to life as substitutes Devante Rodney and Connor Simpson went close before Jack Munns scored his first goal for the club with a neat finish from the edge of the box in time added on.
