This was not so much how good Leicester were but how poor Stoke were. I don't think Stoke have moved on from previous seasons. If anything on yesterday's performance they have forgotten the basics of football. Poor marking, not closing down, determination, passing in triangles, pass move. Reliance on crouch after spending all that money is not moving forward. That's not dig at crouchy he's good.
Not being biased but I do believe crouch would be a excellent addition to the England squad. Plan b or whatever he's adds another dimension that other teams may struggle with. As for Carrol, come on he's not up to it. Crouch is excellent professional and good for youngsters to work with. Gives his all every game and gues what? He's scores to... regular.
I know he's not fashionable or marketable, so it won't happen, but I'd like see Crouch given a run out for England with a view to taking him to Russia. I'm all for the future and blooding youngsters, but right now we have to work out which 23 players will give us the best chance in a one-off tournament next summer, and I really believe Crouch would be an option.
Leicester playing pretty okish at the moment.Euro place would be great result for us.
Peter crouch for England? Like your comment 39 about one squad place. If jyou look back at recent times to the 1 or 2 ( sometimes felt like 22!) players out of form or barely out of nappies - the idea of having someone with experience, nouse and a style that opponents will not be used to is excellent absolutely zero chance of that then.
@44 yeah remember that. Guys a legend
Haha old Crouchy (in football terms) still doing it. I'll never forget a brilliant interview with Crouch a while back when the reporter asked him, "if you hadn't made it as a footballer what would you be"? Crouch said....single.
BBC:-"Puel received an underwhelming reaction from Leicester supporters".... Why do the BBC constantly lie and try to create "bad" and "fake" news. LCFC fans have been more then welcoming to Puel....only the BBC and so called pundits like Redknapp have knocked him and tried to put him down in order to create a story out of nothing. Shame on the BBC.... Again
Oh dear mummy didn't wake Markthelegendidiot up early he only got in at no 22
Stoke were lucky, Leicester were clearly the better team for the majority of the game.
