Good to see West Brom have lost their boring tag.
at least these two managers only whinge when they lose - unlike that grumpy old goat Hughesie who whinges even when he wins
@29: Hi Knighton, agree entirely with your sentiments in post 29. Up to 18th now with, as you predicted, the promoted teams starting to slip down the table, so no wonder you are not bored. Need to score more goals though, 8 in 15 games is terrible.
Football's gone stats-mad. Only someone with severe autism could retain more than 1% of it & 99% of it is insignificant anyway. Who cares if WBA have gone 313 games without scoring a headed own goal in the first 5 minutes or that Palace once drew an away game after going in 2-0 down at half-time to a brace by a ginger-haired Nigerian?O, yes, almost forgot: boring game.
'endeavour & organisation' - exactly what WBA had under Pulis.
18. SpinartSorry mate but you got the wrong end of the stick there. I didn't post that you are bottom of the league to have a go at palace fans and it's not ignorant to say that you are. The facts are that YOU ARE BOTTOM OF THE LEAGUE.I think your squad is too good to be there and under Roy you'll start to pick up points. Good luck for the rest of the season, hopefully you won't need it.
@28Football for me is boring to watch unless you actually support a team, then it is a different kettle of fish, as you care about the result, worry about your team going down, which is why the one thing I have never been watching Palace over many years is bored !!Perhaps you are one of the many people who just have a general interest in football and watch it on the box ?
A story from my friend at a recent charity event in London.Friend: "Excuse me Alan, thanks for being here, would you mind signing a couple of bits and bobs?Alan Pardew: Hahahaha!, is this for that charity?Friend:" Yes, the charity that tonight has been based on"Alan Pardew: "Nah!!, i dont care!" then pushed my mate out the way and left laughingThats the measure of the man
Why oh why oh why oh why is McLean even in the squad for WBA, he is a pointless thug and a goon, who is not even good enough to play in any of the top 7 tiers, pack him off to Celtic in January
You have not posted an interview with Hodgson against WBA but B&HA. It was the same score line so maybe he said much the same things. Will we ever know ?
as people on here have stated the ticket today was £25.....and some have said it was ok value wise....we have a choice.personally I would rather spend £25 (plus drinks food petrol etc) on something else.....we all have a choice?.......not sure football is 'the winner' in the long run?...discuss......
Well Mr Pardew, when you fail to score at home against the team with the worst record in the league you have not "bossed the game".
I was in Birmingham today and went to the West Brom game because I never had been to the Hawthorns, and ticket prices reasonable at £25. Other teams should note. Not a fantastic game as both teams cancelled each other out, but could not fault the commitment of both teams, and they seem good enough to stay up.
Another game unbeaten, another point on the road to recovery from a terrible start to the season, I always thought we would stay up, and now I am more and more sure.Come on you Palace !!!
