Hartlepool United 1-2 Macclesfield Town

Keith Lowe's last-minute goal completed a stunning comeback as Macclesfield won 2-1 at Hartlepool.

The visitors trailed with five minutes to go, before Ryan Lloyd cancelled out Michael Woods' first-half strike.

It looked as though Woods' goal would be enough to give Hartlepool the three points at Victoria Park as he popped up six minutes before half-time to score his second goal of the season.

Almost immediately, Hartlepool were indebted to their goalkeeper Scott Loach, who pulled off a great save to deny Mitch Hancox a Macc equaliser.

Loach was again called upon to deny Scott Burgess moments before Shwan Jalal got down to save a Jake Cassidy effort three minutes before the break.

Macclesfield, who had drawn their last three league games, turned the game on its head when Lloyd turned Elliot Durrell's cross into the net before Lowe struck his late winner.
