@11. footyfan94. Who is this 'world class manager' Everton have appointed? Not read about that anywhere. Didn't think Allardyce would last long. Hopefully now, he'll be gone for good.
If he continiues to develop the way he is doing the Lookman will not be at Everton much longer. One of the big clubs in Europe will take him off their hands.
Allardyce has taken over a team that are tenth in the league.Has he personally got the ability to turn us into a top 4/5 team? Or is he a one trick pony, can only get teams to 15/16 in the league then "jump ship" Please prove me wrong and I will be first to sing his praises, but I wonder!!!
3 wins on the bounce should give EFC a bit of much needed confidence, but they were against teams they should have beaten everyday of the week. You can only beat what's in front of you though so well done. The Derby will be a different matter, LFC's pace and movement in attack is likely to cause EFC's ponderous centre halves big problems. Still the Derby is the Derby so who knows what will happen.
Ironic that Joe Royle's kids show the senior players how to play, the day after he gets booted out of the club by Allardyce.
Would love to know how Everton fans can afford to go to Cyprus for a midweek football match in December.....amazing....where do these people find the money and time off?......(and other supporters of other clubs)Do they work?...They must be much better off than I am....
All these comments praising Big Sam are funny.Last month you didn't want him near your club, considered him beneath you. Lets instead appoint P.E. teacher and "true blue" Unsworth.Typical fickle fans the Everton lot.
Epic to see 2 European heavyweights slug it out in front of a packed stadium, with Premiership quality coming out on top.
The most significant thing from this result for me is it highlights the disaster that was Koeman. A far younger team, playing away, scores three and concedes none through effort and playing as a unit. The reverse fixture was a 2-2 draw with supposedly senior players as a disorganised shambles that didn't know what their jobs were. Koeman is a fraud. Hopefully, for other clubs, he's been found out
well played the youngsters. great experience for them. Now need one or two of them to step up to he first team and be regulars in the squad, especially Lookman. Wasted season in Europe, real shame. Concentrate on survival now, take one game at a time starting with the redlot....COYB
It's a shame Unsworth couldnt keep them in the Europa, but it wasn't his fault the team was underperforming. He's done a great job of boosting the squad, and now Alladyce/Shakesphere can come in and bring the squad to a decent position in the PL.Man United fan
Congratulations David Unsworth for producing this very talented group of youngsters.Lets just hope that Allardyce has got the skill to develop them over the next 2/3 seasons as premier league players and perhaps emulate what MU did with their "class of 92"I dont think he has the talent to do that, I would love him to prove me wrong and it could be a great future for us real Evertonians
Everton always seem to do poor in Europe. It's quite rare you will see them get a win against non English teams. As for the weekend against Liverpool well I agree with most that Everton could get well and truly squashed. Liverpool are playing really good attacking football at the mo and scoring plenty of goals and I don't think Allardyce would have a clue about how to stop that.
Liverpool might just as well put out the reserves on Saturday if this is the blitzkrieg they will be facing.
