Plymouth Argyle have been given permission to develop their Home Park ground after Plymouth City Council approved a planning application.

The League One club can now rebuild the stadium's grandstand, increasing Home Park's capacity to more than 20,000.

A new international-size ice rink will be built on adjacent land along with a hotel, gym, offices and restaurants.

"This is very exciting and we're now looking forward to 2018 and beyond," said Argyle chairman James Brent.
