I think with the free money were getting from the Holy Virgil sale we should lend 1 Million to every other team except the Sevco to keep things exciting. Sevco don't need the money as they already spent 9 million in the summer!!!
Jeremy Corbyn should put in his next manifesto. - 'Nationalise Football League.' Clubs are just being turned into 'Gentleman' Clubs, run by Torys!Conservatives - You have done enough damage!
Sad news about Johnny Hayes. Rest easy son, come back stronger.
135 - I was at Souness first game after he signed for Rangers, it was a Glasgow cup final against Celtic at Ibrox, Friday night game, 3 2 to Rangers. English clubs were banned from Europe and Rangers made a point of signing English internationals initially, fair play to them. Souness introduced Murray to Rangers during that season and he bought them in 1987, administration 2012
SPL = Manure (including the tic)Embarrassing against any team who train with a ball.I'm sure blind tic followers disagree, despite the absolute rogering they get against anyone outside Scotland. Hehehehehe. Weegie simpletons.
@136 What, like Man U v Bristol? Last season was an exceptional one for Celtic, no question, however the two prior to that saw Aberdeen run them very close as they are again this season. But for the suspect losses at ibrox there's only be that loss at Parkhead separating Scotland's top two teams. Hibs have fared best against Celtic then dropped points elsewhere. Consistency is required.
Heavyweights v Flyweights is no competition. Which is more important for Celtic or any other club: success in home competitions(up) or improving the competitiveness in order to improve the quality of football and, perhaps, to then go on to compete against the best ( down)?
When it comes to high emotions thinking becomes grossly impaired. At No. 129 among other things I said:'The decline of Rangers has been detrimental to Celtic.' No. 130 replied ''their [Ranger's] decline was completely self- inflicted and has no bearing on Celtic'' That is correct but irrelevant; again I suggest that the lack of competition to Celtic here impedes the game generally.
@122 Rangers nearly destroyed Scottish football with their financial doping. Celtic on the other hand have worked hard to get to this position of dominance and have been a good example to other clubs of how they should be run. Anyone who has followed Scottish football in recent years would have saw that clubs are just now recovering from these years of overspending and are improving.
11 points ahead...that will mean players sold asap, what size is this biscuit tin now ?And the punters will still believe the board whatever manure they tell them.
I'm not really convinced Celtic has progressed this season. I think it's due to the constant rotation of the squad game by game. I understand that players need a rest, but quite often it's not just one or two players dropping out the team, it's four or five. Last season Rogers seemed to have a preferred first eleven, but this season he doesn't appear to be so sure what that is.
Comical.......all the simple tic followers celebrate beating anyone in scotland.......Hehehehehe..... they are more entertaining to watch than the farce of a match...........And I thought weegies were more intelligent than that.Ah well.
