we shauld beaten everton and swansea .. just that final little last thing that stopped us .. yep .. goals.
Watched 6 Nations and players and managers attitudes to their referees, I was struck by how much more respectful the rugby players were to the referees than some in the PL. Perhaps it may be due to the players motivations even to be in their teams and how overpaid footballers were. Devastated by injuries to Fer and Bony and also MOTD commentators abt Swans on 3rd. Well done Swans onwards/up
@65 Too true, could cost Leicester a Europa place..The only good thing to come out of the January transfer window is that Leicester appear to uncovered another gem in Diabate. Looks to have boat loads of potential...I wonder how long it will be before the top Premier clubs come knocking for his signature.
@61 Cannot help that the Mahrez saga would never have happened if Man City had not lost a key player to injury last Sunday at Cardiff. They only came in for Mahrez in desperation & as back up. This has left us at Leicester with a very bad situation to deal with, & could cost us going forward in a quest to win something this season..plus a Europa place.Less than a week ago Mahrez was a settled man
Leicester should have been down to 10 men early on after a disgraceful over the top challenge. Puel is very one eyed in his assessment of the match.
61. Posted by Cheg on"leave Mahrez out in the cold"My heart bleeds
MOTD treated Swansea city with blatant disregard as to respect. We're trying to claw our way out of relegation zone, yet no mention of the Swans in their summing up of the game. seven point in three games warrants some discussion no matter where a club is in the league table. Arrogance is just plain ignorant.
Fair play to Leicester, Mahrez is one of the best players in the Premiership at the moment, obvious else Pep wouldn't be chasing him, he's up there with the best. By comparison Coutinho £142m, to offer less than half for Mahrez is a joke, especially on the last 2 days of the window. Typical top four Club, make a crap offer then leave Mahrez out in the cold. Ultimately unsettled both player & club.
Mahrez has undoubtedly cost Leicester points with his unprofessionalisn, they were not given enough time to negotiate a fair transfer and acted properly. Not to mention the fact that he is under contract and being paid a lot of money. I don’t think he will be missed too much by the fans when he does go at the end of the season.
stop crying Puel - nobody likes a cry baby - just look at Mahrez and those Yorkshire folk that want to take Richard 2nd back to his home ground - all weeping wallies
Manchester City next very tasty, Mahrez is making a fool of himself, he has lost the respect of this Leicester fan. We should have beaten Everton and Swansea, if Mahrez had acted like a pro and not walked out of training last week to seek a move those points could have been ours, dont forget he has done this TWICE to our club now.
@54 The thing is what most people fail to understand is that we the fans or the owners don't care if we do get less when he eventually goes.
As Puel says this was 2 points lost for Leicester City as this is another game similar to the away game at Chelsea where they should have been home and dray by halftime. The despicable antics of Mahrez hasn' t helped and the sooner this matter is sorted out the better for all concerned.
@ 54 starmanIsn't what Leicester are doing pretty much the same as Liverpool did with Suarez and Coutinho? Play hard ball, reject the initial bids then look to get more next time around?
You Leicester fans can whine about Mayhez all you want and go on bout so called market values. The fact is that you get what you give iin life, and after this debacle, he will be worth much less than you were offered. Liverpool done the decent thing in the end with Saurez and Courtinho, and made a lot of money from it.
Another decent result for Swansea, they're a decent club and have always tried to play the game the right way, keep at it Swans, I hope you stay in the Prem.
Someone teach players like Mahrez -Suspend his wages, take him to court for breach of contract.Fine him 3M, and maybe it will bring an end to this unprofessional, uncivil loutish behaviour, from players who don't know how lucky they are.
Leicester were willing to sell him so to say he's been betrayed is rubbish. No club were willing to match our valuation of him so we didn't sell. His performances this season have increased his value by 50% in just 6 months fair play to him for that but he's not going anywhere until our valuation of him is matched. Clubs no longer need to sell thanks to the tv money.
